Transportation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Engineer to join our team at Apex Companies, LLC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing transportation systems and infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design calculations and bid documents, including specifications and drawings
- Prepare state, federal, and local permit applications
- Conduct fieldwork, including GPS data collection, infrastructure inspections, and traffic counts
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff and provide on-the-job training and mentoring for interns
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Excellent writing skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and GIS applications
- Valid Driver's License
- Previous intern or Co-op experience
- EIT certification, or ability to obtain within the first year of employment
