Job Title: Accounting and Administrative Director
We are Emmune, Inc., a small biotechnology company seeking an experienced accounting and administrative professional to perform various administrative functions. The primary focus of this role is on accounting, ensuring compliance with Federal government audit requirements. Key responsibilities include day-to-day bookkeeping, timely bill payments, expenditure report preparation, annual audit preparation, and employee timekeeping management.
As a secondary role, the successful candidate will serve as the human resources (HR) manager for our small team. Additional responsibilities will include managing insurance policies, maintaining registrations and permits, and performing other administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Experience with Federal contracts or Federal grants
• Proficiency with QuickBooks
Preferred Qualifications:
• B.A. or B.S.
• 4+ years of experience in accounting and administration roles
• Well-organized
• Excellent judgement
• Ability to work independently without day-to-day supervision
• Strong work ethic
