Electrical Contractor Federal Sales Manager
About the Role:
This position involves leading and managing the company's efforts to secure and manage government contracts and projects. Develop strategies to grow government business, build relationships with key government agencies, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new government contracting opportunities at the federal, state, and local levels. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company growth objectives in the government sector.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key government agencies and procurement officials. Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and government meetings.
- Proposal and Bid Management: Lead the preparation and submission of bids, proposals, and RFQs/RFPs for government projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in government sales, preferably within the electrical contracting or construction industry.
- Proven track record of securing and managing government contracts.
