Job Title: Human Resources Representative - Bilingual - Home Care

Preferred Home Care of New York, a fully licensed and growing Home Care Agency serving the NY Metropolitan area, is seeking an experienced HR Representative (Bilingual) for our Corporate Office.

Job Summary:

The Human Resources Representative assumes responsibility for the coordination of administrative activities related to employee relations, retention, orientation, and training, policies & procedures updates, employee record compliance, and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process applications and serve as the intermediate liaison between applicants and our onboarding team.
  • Education all new hires on their employee benefits, company policies, and compile all new employee files.
  • Ensure compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations concerning personnel record compliance for licensed home care agencies.
  • Utilize up-to-date computer software and hardware designed to manage job functions.
Requirements:
  • Bilingual
  • Understanding of New York State Department of Health regulations
  • Ability to define and resolve human resource problems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HHA Exchange
Qualifications:
  • Work-related experience, preferably with health care services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of the regulations governing the home care field
