As a Senior Project Coordinator within PNC's Finance division, you will play a crucial role in our dynamic team based in a designated location.

This position primarily operates from a PNC office. Responsibilities will require regular attendance in the office or field, with some tasks potentially performed remotely at the discretion of management.

As a vital member of the Corporate Controller's Implementation Team (CCIT), you will be part of a thriving finance department dedicated to delivering innovative financial solutions, systems, and processes that ensure compliance and accuracy. Our focus is on large-scale, intricate finance projects that typically involve a technological aspect. The fast-paced and ever-evolving environment offers ample opportunities for professional development.

Your role will involve supporting the design and execution of various initiatives within Finance and the Corporate Controller's Office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and consolidate operational documentation from each module leader.
  • Collaborate with the Training Lead and PNC University to develop End User Training.
  • Conduct analysis and create mapping documents between current and future access roles.
  • Assist Project Leaders in monitoring the Implementation Command Center.
  • Support the testing strategy, execution, and manage defect resolution during Mock/UAT.
  • Help Project Leaders with readiness reviews and administrative project requirements.
  • Evaluate and propose alternative solutions related to assigned tasks and analyses.

This position provides a unique opportunity to gain insights into data, processes, and requirements across Finance at PNC. You will play a pivotal role in cross-functional projects, collaborating with various teams within Control and Finance, thereby enhancing your leadership, teamwork, analytical, and communication skills. This is an excellent opportunity to influence future processes within Finance and specifically within Control Finance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting is highly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, and Index Match.
  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team setting.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Manage complex projects from initial concept through final implementation and post-project evaluation, ensuring project objectives are met within established timelines.
  • Develop strategies, processes, resource allocation, budget guidelines, and support for the project management team.
  • Collaborate with internal project contacts to secure resources, assign tasks, direct activities, and oversee project execution while mentoring team members.
  • Track and report progress, analyze results based on factual data, define project deliverables, and forecast future trends.
  • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, develop contingency plans, and recommend improvements based on outcomes.
  • Maintain communication with governing bodies and stakeholders, clearly conveying project expectations to team members in a timely manner.
