Position Overview:
As a Senior Structural Project Leader, you will be pivotal in achieving all project goals for your assigned initiatives, encompassing scope, timeline, and financial parameters. This role demands a proactive approach to project management and collaboration with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations while preparing necessary financial documentation.
- Develop comprehensive Project Management Plans tailored to each assignment.
- Establish project pricing and financial frameworks.
- Create and uphold detailed project timelines.
- Formulate and implement quality assurance plans specific to each project.
- Manage the project scope and coordinate with subconsultants.
- Engage in client presentations and maintain strong client relationships.
- Supervise and mentor project staff, fostering their professional growth through effective leadership and performance management.
- Collaborate with Section Heads and Office Managers on marketing initiatives.
- Handle requests for additional work and proposals for open-end contracts.

Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program.
- Valid Professional Engineer License in Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain within six months).
- Over 20 years of experience in a specialized engineering discipline.
- Proficiency in standard office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with AASHTO Bridge Design Specifications and relevant state standards.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a CAPM or PMP.
- Master’s degree in civil engineering.
- Experience with Open Bridge Modeler and structural analysis software (e.g., CSiBridge, Midas).
- Proven experience in managing multidisciplinary project teams and engaging with local government clients.
- Knowledge of various project delivery methods, including Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build.

Work Environment:
At Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, we understand the importance of work-life balance and offer flexible work arrangements. The position primarily involves sedentary tasks, with occasional requirements for standing and walking. While the office environment is comfortable, fieldwork may necessitate exposure to varying weather conditions. Lifting of up to 25 lbs may be required on occasion.
