Hotel Front Desk Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Guest Service Representative to join our team at a West Knoxville company. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience during their stay.
Responsibilities:
- Reconcile the cash drawer and maintain accurate records
- Monitor room availability and release rooms as needed
- Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Pre-block arrivals and ensure guest registration cards are complete and accurate
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience
- Obtain payment and incidental holds for guest rooms
- Stay visible and accessible to guests, providing assistance and support as needed
- Utilize Canary authorization to maintain compliance with credit card security requirements
- Update Clean Me Next and maintain accurate records
- Ensure all rooms are physically inspected before guest check-in
- Monitor and respond to guest inquiries and complaints via Akia
- Stay up to date on CLC trainings and Member web trainings
- Check CLC guests out in a timely manner
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and complaints
- Treat all coworkers and guests with respect and professionalism
- Document guest accidents and complete maintenance logs as needed
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED
- Customer service experience required
- Experience handling cash and maintaining accurate records
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Knowledge of hotel layout, amenities, and procedures
- Knowledge of local geographic area, businesses, and services
