About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Development Engineer to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of new plastic labware products from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop product requirements, concepts, and analysis
  • Lead design activities, including product verification and sustaining activities
  • Present work and results at technical design reviews
  • Seek out new technologies and extract value for our products and manufacturing processes
  • Develop and maintain engineering design standards and best practices
Requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in product development, preferably in a mechanical engineering or biomedical engineering field
  • Strong proficiency with mechanical drafting standards and CAD
  • Proven track record of applying problem-solving tools and making data-driven decisions
  • Proven technical leadership and collaboration skills
