Quality Assurance Manager

Accentuate Staffing is seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Manager to spearhead our clients' quality assurance initiatives. As the key contact for all customer quality concerns, you will oversee our Quality Management System (QMS) and lead efforts to enhance departmental performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Direct the overall strategy for the quality assurance department, setting and monitoring goals, creating development plans, and identifying training opportunities.
  • Customer Liaison: Serve as the primary contact for customer quality concerns, responding quickly with solutions and ensuring sustained improvements.
  • Quality Management System Oversight: Ensure QMS compliance, manage quality policies and procedures, and maintain adherence to relevant standards and customer requirements.
  • Audit and Compliance: Oversee ISO audits and compliance, update ISO work instructions, and identify opportunities for system improvements.
  • Data-Driven Problem Solving: Prioritize quality issues using data analysis, address supplier and product-related concerns, and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead and facilitate CI events, track progress, and ensure long-term project sustainability.
  • Enhancing Departmental Efficiency: Increase the department's efficiency by adopting new tools, technology, and best practices.
  • Statistical Analysis: Utilize statistical methods for process controls, sampling plans, and design of experiments to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present data-driven reports with actionable recommendations for quality improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective measures.
  • Industry Best Practices: Stay current with industry trends and quality management best practices, integrating relevant advancements into our processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality management, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in quality management within a manufacturing setting.
  • Deep understanding of quality management systems, particularly ISO 9001, with experience in implementation and maintenance.
  • Proven success in leading quality improvement initiatives and achieving measurable outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
  • Leadership abilities with excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with all levels of the organization.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Certifications in quality management (e.g., Six Sigma, ASQ Certified Quality Manager) are a plus.
