Key Responsibilities:- HRIS Administration: Update code tables, benefit plans, payroll, talent management, compensation salary planning, recruiting, and onboarding.
- Process Improvement: Analyze HR processes and make recommendations for improvements via the use of technology.
- System Monitoring: Monitor the HRIS system to ensure proper function.
- Documentation: Oversee the documentation of requirements, development, implementation, and testing of new or redesigned systems, reports, and procedures for HR to ensure efficient business processes.
- Collaboration: Work with the HR staff to review current process, recommend improvement, and drive process decisions.
- Database Management: Maintain a thorough, efficient, and accurate HRIS database.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve HRIS problems by comparing data from different sources to create solutions.
- User Support: Provide regular updates and training to HR users regarding any changes to processes and systems.
- Upgrade and Enhancement: Support upgrades, enhancements, and testing.
- Software Analysis: Analyze software releases to assess the impact of new features.
- Process Documentation: Create and maintain process documentation and provide training to users within the company.
- Complex Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex production support issues.
- Security and Access: Configure user Roles and Workflows to ensure secure sharing of data internally.
- Password and Access Management: Maintain appropriate security standards related to password/access management.
- User Account Management: Manage end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights in accordance with best practices regarding privacy, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or Business, and/or 5+ years' experience with HRIS software as a service.
- Documentation and Auditing: Experience in documenting processes as well as performing audits.
- HRIS Software Experience: Experience implementing and supporting Paylocity, Novatime/UKG a plus.
- Relevant Training and Certifications: Relevant training and/or certifications as an HRIS Analyst.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrate attention to detail, identify opportunities to increase accuracy and optimize resources, and develop/recommend/implement solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, expertise in setting and managing customer expectations, and presents organized and thorough information and data appropriate for the intended audience.
- Time Management Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, problem solve, and work well under pressure.
- Basic Computer Skills: Demonstrates ability to create complex formulas in MS Excel, create queries in company software applications, quickly learns and achieves proficiency in new software applications as needed, and advanced user of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Other Technical/Computer Skills: Thorough knowledge of internal company software applications applicable to the position/business unit, acts as a subject matter expert and provides training, troubleshooting, and other support for software applications managed by the business unit.
