Job Summary

The HRIS Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) to ensure efficient and effective HR operations. This role involves overseeing system upgrades, implementing new functionalities, and ensuring data integrity and security. The HRIS Administrator will streamline HR processes, generate reports, and provide technical support to end-users.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the optimal function of the HRIS, including installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrade to applications, systems, and modules.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users.
• Collaborate with managers and HR staff to identify system improvements and enhancements; recommend and implement solutions.
• Manage permissions, access, personalization, and similar system operations and settings for HRIS users.
• Program custom functions and documentation such as automated queries, filters, macros, and reports.
• Identify opportunities for automation within all respects of HR processes.
• Serve as lead representative and liaison between HR, information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS design and implementation projects.
• Ensure system compliance with data security and privacy requirements.
• Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS and technology.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
• At least five years of related experience required.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
• Ability to keep information confidential.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with a highly technical understanding of at least one commercial HRIS product.

Work Environment

The HRIS Administrator will work in a normal manufacturing and office environment. Occasional handling of material and components may be required. Personal protection equipment (PPE) may be recommended and/or required in some shop areas. The ability to support extended business hours to meet customer business needs is also required.
