ROLE SUMMARY

The Procurement Specialist, reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Director, plays a crucial role in Richemont's Latin America operations. This position is focused on enhancing indirect procurement and sourcing activities across the Maisons and Functions while achieving cost savings in the region. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, possess strong relationship-building skills, and demonstrate analytical and sourcing expertise. This role involves leading regional sourcing initiatives and implementing best purchasing practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sourcing Strategy:

  • Assist the region in achieving sourcing and procurement goals established by Central Procurement.
  • Contribute to the development of strategic sourcing plans for key expenditure areas in Latin America, ensuring alignment with quality, delivery, and cost requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Category Managers in Central Procurement and across the Maisons to formalize sourcing activities and implement procurement strategies.
Quality & Customer Service:
  • Lead RFx events, negotiate terms, and develop contracts for significant regional initiatives.
  • Provide ongoing training to stakeholders on compliance requirements and harmonization opportunities.
  • Oversee supplier performance evaluations, including remediation and cost reduction strategies.
Financial Management:
  • Deliver cost savings and avoidance by managing the complete sourcing process in the region.
  • Support the establishment of a competitive edge for Richemont Americas through exemplary agreements.
  • Identify strategic cost-saving opportunities through thorough category analysis and spend data evaluation.
Innovation:
  • Promote creative, value-driven sourcing strategies that align with business needs.
  • Enhance procurement processes to improve efficiency and compliance.
  • Work collaboratively across various business functions to optimize the procure-to-pay cycle.
Sustainability:
  • Ensure suppliers adhere to the Richemont Supplier Code of Conduct.
  • Integrate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) principles into the RFx process.
  • Foster cross-functional partnerships to advocate for procurement best practices within each Maison.
QUALIFICATIONS

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in procurement or sourcing.
  • Project management capabilities and the ability to work within a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, both spoken and written.

Travel Requirements:
