Role Summary:

We are in search of a seasoned and innovative Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) to architect and steer our worldwide revenue strategy, propelling sustainable growth across diverse industry sectors. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CRO will formulate and implement a comprehensive revenue strategy utilizing various sales channels, including enterprise, partnerships, integrators, and direct sales. This role presents a significant opportunity to refine sales methodologies and foster essential alliances to meet our ambitious revenue goals.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute holistic revenue generation strategies while enhancing the alignment of all revenue-related activities to drive sustainable growth and meet revenue objectives throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Maintain a centralized focus on the overall customer experience on a global scale.
  • Lead and motivate a worldwide team of sales and revenue professionals, offering strategic direction, mentorship, and support to optimize performance and outcomes.
  • Identify new market and channel opportunities, nurture strategic partnerships, and innovate go-to-market strategies to broaden our customer base and revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, technology, and operations, to ensure cohesive and synergistic revenue-generating efforts.
  • Drive advancements in sales processes, technology, and tools to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer engagement.
  • Evaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, and customer insights to comprehend the interrelation of marketing and sales initiatives, informing revenue growth strategies and decision-making.
  • Utilize data and insights to propose budgets that facilitate the most efficient path to revenue by analyzing the cost/benefit relationship of various sales expenditures.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track progress, pinpoint areas for enhancement, and foster continuous revenue growth.
  • Promote a diverse, high-performance culture within the revenue organization, encouraging teamwork, accountability, and professional development while aligning key sales activities with the top priorities of other commercial functions.
  • Represent Packsize at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to the executive team and board of directors regarding revenue performance, forecasts, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or a related field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Comprehension of the packaging industry landscape, including trends, challenges, and emerging technologies, is essential.
  • Advanced knowledge of manufacturing processes, automation technologies, and software solutions pertinent to the packaging sector would be advantageous.
  • Proven success in senior leadership roles driving revenue growth within a global organization, preferably in the technology or manufacturing sectors.
  • Familiarity with international sales channels, distribution networks, and regulatory environments relevant to the packaging industry is crucial.
  • Extensive experience in cultivating, leading, and managing diverse high-performing sales teams in a global context.
  • Demonstrated strategic reasoning, analytical skills, and business acumen, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable revenue-generating strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the capacity to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally frequently.
