Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Services Representative to join our team at Miami Beach Medical Group. As a key member of our front office staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless patient experience from check-in to check-out.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Activate patient files, manage appointment schedules, and coordinate patient flow to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility, collect co-pays, and process payments in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient demographic information, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Assist with HEDIS process and procedures, contributing to the improvement of patient care and outcomes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including scanning patient documents, sorting and distributing faxes, and preparing transportation lists.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; bi-lingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including MS Word, MS Excel, and Electronic Health Records.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and telephone skills.
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures.
