Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Account Manager to join our team at White Cap. As an Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in our structured Accelerated Sales Program to gain in-depth knowledge of our business model, products, and customer needs.
  • Engage in classroom, independent study, and on-the-job training to develop your sales skills and expertise.
  • Generate viable sales leads and prospects through the use of our sales pipeline, sales events, job site visits, and networking.
  • Make outbound business development phone calls to drive sales growth and build relationships with customers.
  • Prepare and execute account plans to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Sell our value proposition and products to customers, highlighting their benefits and features.
  • Ride along with our District Sales Manager or experienced Account Managers to learn best practices and gain hands-on experience.
  • Enter and process customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Seek and respond to performance feedback to continuously improve your sales skills and performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Business or Marketing.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a related field, or MS/MA and 0-1 year of experience.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members.
  • Self-motivated and proactive approach to sales and customer relationships.
  • Competitive nature with a drive to succeed and meet sales targets.
  • Goal-oriented with personal accountability to delivering on metrics.
  • Open to feedback and willing to take action to improve performance.
