Join the esteemed culinary team at Water Grill Las Vegas, where we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional seafood experiences. As a Culinary Operations Leader, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining our reputation for excellence and innovation in the kitchen.

As a Culinary Operations Leader, you will be expected to uphold the highest standards of kitchen management, ensuring quality and consistency in our offerings. You will collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and be a vital part of our leadership team, responsible for guiding the kitchen staff and maintaining operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute opening and closing procedures to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and manage prep lists for kitchen personnel.
  • Assist in the preparation of all food items for service.
  • Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas.
  • Notify the Executive Chef of any inventory shortages or maintenance issues.
  • Facilitate cross-training and professional development for kitchen staff.
  • Lead the implementation of new menu items and seasonal offerings.
  • Support corrective action initiatives within the kitchen.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection of new kitchen staff.
  • Engage with guests to gather feedback and accommodate special requests.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor with team members.
  • Contribute to team meetings and discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory culinary role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Formal culinary training is preferred.
  • Ability to engage in financial planning and analysis.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of cooking techniques and menu items.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and carry items as needed.
  • Capability to navigate through tight spaces and reach various heights.
