As the Kitchen Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our kitchen, ensuring that every dish meets our quality expectations. Your leadership will inspire a team of culinary professionals, fostering an environment of growth and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of kitchen operations, ensuring timely and high-quality food preparation.
  • Supervise kitchen staff daily, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Optimize kitchen efficiency while controlling operating costs.
  • Recruit, onboard, and provide ongoing training for kitchen personnel.
  • Maintain kitchen equipment to ensure it is in excellent working condition.
  • Guarantee food quality and consistency to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure a cohesive dining experience.
  • Implement inventory management systems to minimize waste and manage costs effectively.
  • Build and sustain positive relationships with food suppliers.
  • Motivate and lead kitchen staff to achieve high performance and productivity.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for operational improvements, including cost-saving measures.
  • Develop work schedules for kitchen staff, adjusting as needed to meet operational demands.
  • Ensure compliance with health department regulations, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
  • Facilitate communication between kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide training and support to front-of-house staff regarding menu items and dietary requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role within a full-service restaurant.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations; Serve Safe certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated culinary skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while effectively delegating responsibilities.
  • Experience with payroll management and scheduling is essential.
  • Understanding of food cost management and inventory assessment.
  • Proficient in computer usage with excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 40 lbs and push/pull items up to 75 lbs.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods, with frequent bending and reaching.
  • Skilled in using culinary tools and equipment.
