Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper

Isaacs & Isaacs PSC is seeking a highly skilled Part-Time Bookkeeper to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of our financial records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process high-volume revenue transactions
  • Reconcile credit card statements and prepare bank reconciliations
  • Record journal entries and prepare account reconciliations
  • Balance intercompany accounts for multiple entities
  • Basic understanding of accounting cycles, including revenues, expenses, payroll, and cash controls

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in accounting or equivalent
  • 2 years of progressive bookkeeping experience
  • Specific experience with high-volume transactional processing and demonstrated success in promoting data integrity, contract compliance, and streamlined automation of business processes
  • Demonstrated expert proficiency with QuickBooks or comparable accounting software
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including manipulation of large data files and creation of formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs
  • Excellent organization, compliance, problem-solving, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and ability to multitask with minimal supervision
  • 4 hours onsite daily, with preference for 8am to Noon
