We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial and Corporate Law Specialist to provide expert legal services in commercial and corporate law, contract law, construction law, wills and estates, and immigration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in drafting legal documents, managing complex transactions, and offering comprehensive legal advice across various practice areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and review a wide range of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, wills, estates, and representation agreements.
  • Handle residential and commercial conveyancing and financing transactions with precision and care.
  • Provide expert legal counsel in commercial law, contract law, construction law, property assessment, and insurance matters.
  • Manage corporate and business law matters, including incorporations, dissolutions, mergers and acquisitions, and other commercial transactions.
  • Oversee the purchase and sale of businesses, both assets and shares.
  • Advise clients on commercial leasing arrangements.
  • Offer legal support in immigration matters.
  • Stay current with relevant laws and regulations to ensure accurate and up-to-date legal advice.
  • Deliver exceptional client service by addressing legal issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with fellow legal professionals and support staff to provide comprehensive legal solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction.
  • A minimum of five years of experience as a solicitor, with a solid background in insurance.
  • Extensive experience in wills, estates, representation agreements, and conveyancing.
  • Expertise in legal drafting and providing general legal advice in commercial, contract, and construction law.
  • Strong understanding of corporate and business law, including mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, and commercial leasing.
  • Experience in immigration law is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
