Job Summary

As an Insurance Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, communicating policy details, and ensuring seamless claims processing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Communication: Meet regularly with agents to stay up-to-date on industry standards, insurance products, and policy updates. Assist clients, underwriters, and sales representatives in understanding and addressing new rules and policy changes.
  • Policy Management: Help create competitive quotes for renewals and policy updates. Provide clear answers to clients on coverage and billing questions, including rate fluctuations and policy changes.
  • Claims Processing: Facilitate communication with clients and claims adjusters to process documentation for claims on current policies. Record policy updates and changes on customer accounts and communicate with clients to explain updates to their coverage.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent follow-up, written, and verbal communication skills, as well as problem-solving skills.
  • Insurance License: Must have an active insurance license in their state or be willing to obtain one within 90 days.
  • Insurance Experience: Preferably have experience as an insurance agent or in a related position, but we will provide training for the right fit and skillset.
  • Education: Hold an Associate's or Bachelor's degree, or have commensurate insurance industry experience.
  • Technical Skills: Possess basic computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
