Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our Primary Care team at St. Charles Health System. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physicians in delivering high-quality medical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians with daily patient flow, using triage skills to gather information and anticipate physician needs.
  • Collaborate with physicians and non-clinical staff to ensure comprehensive and compassionate healthcare.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, adhering to HIPAA requirements.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on medical practice management information systems and coding conventions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Medical Assistant from a recognized organization (e.g., AMT, NCCT, AAMA, NAHP, or NHA) is essential.
  • AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider certification is required.
  • Ability to travel to business functions, trainings, and meetings, as well as work at all St. Charles Health System worksites.
