POSITION OVERVIEW:

Chastain & Associates LLC is excited to present a remarkable opportunity for a Municipal Infrastructure Project Leader to become a vital part of our team. The chosen candidate will be involved in a variety of public and private infrastructure initiatives, working in close partnership with clients that include private organizations as well as municipal, state, and federal agencies.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Applicants must possess experience within the United States.

A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering is essential.

Possession of a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Illinois, or the ability to obtain one, is required.

Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in overseeing water and wastewater systems, land development, and municipal projects is necessary.

Strong skills in departmental and personnel management are expected.

Familiarity with design and visualization tools such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, ArcGIS, or similar software is advantageous.

Exceptional oral and written communication abilities, along with proficiency in presentations and teamwork, are essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversee project life cycles from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.

Develop, design, and produce plans, specifications, and cost estimates for a range of projects.

Interpret technical specifications and drawings, recommend design adjustments, and coordinate with the design team.

Conduct site assessments, perform technical and feasibility analyses, evaluate materials, and collect data across various domains including traffic analysis, soil capacity, groundwater evaluation, and structural design.

Monitor projects for potential risks, material utilization, and expenses, and promptly report any deficiencies or issues for resolution.

Ensure Quality Assurance/Quality Control on all projects, maintaining Chastain's commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients.

Comply with guidelines and regulations, including permits and safety protocols, and provide necessary technical documentation.

Collaborate with colleagues and assist other departments within Chastain with project requirements.

Manage client relationships and actively engage in business development initiatives.
