About the Role

At HDR, we are seeking a skilled Construction Inspector 2 to join our team. As a Construction Inspector 2, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and document observations of construction progress, including conducting or coordinating concrete slump and air testing, casting concrete test cylinders, and performing in-place soil compaction testing.
  • Monitor records and inspect progress on construction projects, maintaining daily records and identifying discrepancies or conflicts within construction documents.
  • Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure project goals are met, and provide input on project development and pursuit.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years overall experience as a Construction Inspector.
  • 3+ years of progressive experience, including at least 1 year of relevant experience as a Construction Inspector on a multidisciplinary project.
  • ACI and ATTI certifications are required.
  • Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook).
  • Proven problem-solving and documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical school or college degree beneficial.
