Position Overview:

We are in search of a driven and seasoned Project Manager/Estimator to contribute to our projects. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in the planning, coordination, and cost estimation for our heavy civil construction initiatives. This position demands exceptional leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a comprehensive understanding of construction methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management:
    • Direct and oversee all stages of construction projects from start to finish.
    • Create and uphold project timelines, ensuring timely achievement of milestones.
    • Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers for effective project delivery.
    • Track project advancement, budget adherence, and quality assurance.
    • Ensure adherence to safety standards and organizational policies.
  • Estimating:
    • Generate precise and comprehensive cost estimates for projects related to excavation, grading, roadway paving, site concrete, and underground utilities.
    • Examine project plans, specifications, and other relevant documents to formulate time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
    • Utilize HCSS software for developing and managing cost estimates.
    • Evaluate and analyze bids from subcontractors and suppliers.
    • Deliver estimates and reports to management and clients.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and estimating within the heavy civil construction domain.
  • Proficiency in HCSS software is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently and perform under tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites as required.
