Job Overview

In this rewarding role, you will provide essential support services to patients in need of hospice care. As a Hospice Care Specialist with Medical Services of America, you will work under the supervision of experienced professionals to deliver compassionate care and assistance with daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to patients, adhering to their individual plans of care.
  • Ensure patient safety by applying proper techniques and body mechanics during personal care and transfers.
  • Assist with nutrition and hydration, including preparing and serving meals as needed.
  • Monitor patient condition and report any changes or concerns to skilled nurses via phone and document in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Completion of a state-recognized Certified Nursing Assistant course is necessary.
  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license and company-required auto-liability insurance are also required.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits package, including:

  • $45,000 - $55,000 annual salary based on experience.
