Job Summary

  • Sales Planning: Prepare sales and/or marketing plans for the following year, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Team Management: Lead and motivate front desk agents to ensure they are familiar with all sales programs and key accounts.
  • Reporting: Produce sales department reports in a timely manner, providing insights into market trends and revenue opportunities.
  • Market Analysis: Identify revenue opportunities and work to secure business from them, leveraging market research and competitor analysis.
  • Guest Service: Demonstrate commitment to superior guest service through personal response to guest needs, ensuring a positive experience for all customers.
  • Communication: Interact with outside contacts, including guests, owners, vendors, and regulatory agencies, to resolve issues and drive business growth.
  • Other Duties: Perform any other duties as assigned by management, ensuring seamless execution of sales strategies.
Requirements
  • Education: High school education/GED.
  • Experience: Minimum one year sales experience in hospitality or two years of progressive experience in a hotel environment.
  • Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar computer application, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Travel: Up to 50% travel requirement, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Physical Demands: Frequent sitting, standing, and moving about the facilities, with occasional lifting of items weighing up to 25 pounds.
