Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate strong appointment-setting abilities, achieving the required number of meetings weekly with key decision-makers.
- Exhibit effective sales techniques.

- Identify and address prospects' specific needs.
- Clearly articulate Staples' value propositions, product offerings, and capabilities across all categories.
- Overcome objections and successfully close sales.
- Utilize designated sales tools to prioritize tasks and enhance efficiency, while documenting customer interactions (e.g., Priority List, Tenfold, SFDC).
- Collaborate with internal teams, including customer support and category specialists, to advance deals towards closure.
- Implement and manage new account compliance and program adherence.
- Understand the purchasing processes within the prospect's industry to assist in product selection and standardization.
- Develop lasting relationships with clients to encourage ongoing purchases from Staples.
- Incorporate feedback from prospects into the sales strategy.
- Manage customer assortments and pricing effectively.
- Work closely with Category Specialists and support teams to ensure seamless communication.
- Maintain professional communication with prospects on a daily basis, both in-person and virtually.

Basic Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of successful sales experience or prior success as a Staples B2B Sales Associate.
- 3+ years of proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools.
- Industry knowledge is advantageous.
