Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Machinery Controls System Engineer to join our team at TDI Technologies, Inc. in the Greater Philadelphia Region, PA. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing lifecycle support of fielded Machinery Control Systems (MCS) on the USS ARLEIGH BURKE class of destroyer.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide lifecycle support of the supervisory machinery control system, including troubleshooting complex problems, reviewing technical documentation, and providing test support.
  2. Collaborate with the design team to develop test procedures and provide technical input to the design of future MCS systems.
  3. Develop and maintain technical documentation related to all variants of fielded systems and future fielded systems.
  4. Provide shipboard SW & HW installation support of all variants of fielded systems at LBES.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or Computer Science is required.
  2. 0-3 years of experience in electrical or computer engineering as it pertains to control systems in an industrial environment.
Preferred Skills
  1. Experience with Versa Module Eurocard (VME) systems.
  2. Experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) systems.
Additional Information

This position requires the candidate to travel up to 30% of the time.
