Submarine Systems Engineer

Noblis MSD is seeking a highly skilled Submarine Systems Engineer to support submarine auxiliary/machinery systems. The ideal candidate will have a background in submarine systems and experience with testing and troubleshooting efforts for auxiliary machinery control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Support testing and troubleshooting efforts for auxiliary machinery control systems, including propulsion controls, indicator drive units, and hotwell controls.
- Develop, review, and execute test plans and procedures.
- Evaluate technical information received from the Fleet, including Fleet messages and advisories.
- Develop, review, and update technical documentation.
- Provide engineering support for design, repair, installation, modification, maintenance, and operation of systems.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering and minimum 5 years of related experience, or High School Diploma and 11 years of related experience, or equivalent experience serving on a Nuclear Submarine.
- Prior Navy Nuclear training required.
- 25% travel required.
- DoD Secret clearance desired, with the ability to obtain a Secret clearance required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to read and understand technical documentation.
- Ability to troubleshoot challenging technical issues.
- NAVSUP experience.
