We are seeking a highly skilled PLC Control Systems Engineer to join our team at Life Cycle Engineering. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for marine machinery and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop control systems for marine machinery and electrical systems
- Implement and test control systems to ensure compliance with Department of the Navy and Marine Corps technical documentation
- Provide technical analysis and support for complex systems in the engineering discipline
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer) from an ABET-accredited college or university
- 1+ years of experience in systems engineering, electrical engineering, or electronics engineering
- Strong experience with PLC (Ladder Logic) installation and troubleshooting
- Experience with MS Windows operating systems
- Knowledge of CMMI and Agile workflow
- VME/VMX experience
- COMPTIA Security+ certification
- Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools
- Up to 75% travel
- Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing
