Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop control systems for marine machinery and electrical systems
  • Implement and test control systems to ensure compliance with Department of the Navy and Marine Corps technical documentation
  • Provide technical analysis and support for complex systems in the engineering discipline
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Computer) from an ABET-accredited college or university
  • 1+ years of experience in systems engineering, electrical engineering, or electronics engineering
  • Strong experience with PLC (Ladder Logic) installation and troubleshooting
  • Experience with MS Windows operating systems
  • Knowledge of CMMI and Agile workflow
Preferred Skills:
  • VME/VMX experience
  • COMPTIA Security+ certification
  • Experience with JIRA or similar project management tools
Physical Demands:
  • Up to 75% travel
  • Regular physical activity to include walking, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and standing
