We are a prominent organization specializing in compassionate end-of-life care, dedicated to supporting patients and their families. We are seeking a skilled and empathetic Chaplain to become part of our interdisciplinary team.
Position Overview:
- Location: Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region
- Employment Type: Full Time
- Required Education: Graduate Degree
- Travel Requirements: Local Travel
- Work Schedule: Day Shift

Essential Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in Divinity from an accredited institution and completion of at least two units of Basic Clinical Pastoral Education
- Experience in providing care related to death and dying, ideally within a Hospice environment
- A minimum of two years of relevant experience and ordination by a recognized religious organization
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office
Role Responsibilities:
The Chaplain will act as the spiritual care leader for patients and their families, offering spiritual support and guidance. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and executing individualized care plans
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Providing grief support and counseling as necessary
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in pastoral counseling and a profound understanding of Hospice care principles.
