Position Overview:
- Location: Hospice & Palliative Care Charlotte Region
- Employment Type: Full-Time
- Required Education: Graduate Degree
- Travel Requirements: Local Travel
- Work Schedule: Day Shift
- Field: Health Care
Essential Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in Divinity from an accredited institution along with a minimum of two units of Clinical Pastoral Education
- Experience in providing care related to death and dying, ideally within a Hospice setting
- At least two years of relevant experience and ordination by a recognized religious organization
- Proficient in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
Role Responsibilities:
The Chaplain will serve as the spiritual care expert for patients and their families, offering spiritual support and guidance. Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and executing personalized care plans
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Providing grief support and counseling as necessary
The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in pastoral counseling and a profound understanding of Hospice care principles.
