Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and elevate team members to surpass individual and collective performance benchmarks.
  • Champion outstanding customer service by exemplifying brand-specific service protocols, addressing customer feedback, and ensuring the team engages authentically with every visitor.
  • Oversee store operations, including opening and closing procedures, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to provide comprehensive training and ongoing development for staff in customer interaction and company policies.
  • Foster a culture of growth and accountability within the team.
  • Assist in achieving financial and operational targets, including expense management and loss prevention strategies.
  • Support the recruitment and selection process for qualified candidates.
  • Work alongside the Store Manager to implement visual merchandising strategies and maintain brand consistency in product presentation.
  • Ensure adherence to safety and loss prevention protocols, promoting a secure shopping environment.
  • Exemplify respect for diverse backgrounds and experiences, upholding the values of VF Corporation and our brand.
  • Encourage a collaborative atmosphere that values creativity and shared learning.

Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a dynamic retail setting.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.
  • Proven ability to drive results through effective team leadership.
  • Excellent decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Proficient in various computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • History of delivering high-quality customer service in retail.

Preferred:

  • Experience in leading and developing teams of 20 or more associates.
  • Background in specialty retail, particularly in outdoor apparel or equipment.
  • Associate Degree or equivalent from a recognized institution.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to operate standard office equipment and technology.
  • Standing for extended periods is required.
  • Capability to lift and move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Use of ladders for merchandising and display adjustments.
