Your Impact

Key Responsibilities

  • Mentor and guide team members to surpass individual and collective performance targets.
  • Exemplify outstanding customer service by adhering to brand-specific service standards, actively seeking customer feedback, and ensuring every team member engages authentically with customers.
  • Oversee daily operations, including store opening and closing procedures.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to train and develop staff in customer engagement techniques and company policies.
  • Foster a culture of accountability and professional growth.
  • Assist in achieving financial and operational goals, including expense management and compliance with loss prevention measures.
  • Support the recruitment and selection process for new team members.
  • Work alongside the Store Manager to implement visual merchandising strategies and maintain brand presentation standards.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and loss prevention policies.
  • Demonstrate respect for diverse backgrounds and experiences while upholding the values of VF Corporation.
  • Encourage a collaborative environment that promotes creativity and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

Required Skills

  • A minimum of three years of leadership experience in a dynamic retail setting.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales objectives.
  • Ability to drive results through effective team leadership.
  • Excellent decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a retail context.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience managing and developing a team of 20 or more associates.
  • Background in specialty retail, particularly in outdoor apparel or equipment.
  • Associate Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to operate various office equipment and technology.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods.
  • Capable of lifting and moving products weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable using ladders for merchandising tasks.
