The Retail Team Leader plays a crucial role in supporting the Store Leadership Team by overseeing cash management, executing opening and closing protocols, and serving as the Leader on Duty (LOD). This position embodies the brand's values, engages with customers, upholds store standards, and fosters teamwork and employee growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Essential Duties:
- Assist in nurturing talent through associate training, including providing real-time coaching.
- Collaborate with the Store Manager to address performance issues with team members.
- Engage in all company training and development programs.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and deliver timely, constructive feedback.
- Evaluate performance regularly and contribute to the annual review process.
- Inspire and motivate associates to cultivate brand loyalty and enhance the store atmosphere for customers.
- Exemplify and promote outstanding customer service practices on the sales floor while maintaining high standards throughout the store.
- Represent the organization in a professional and positive light.
- Assist management in optimizing productivity through operational knowledge, customer service, and participation in key store initiatives.
- Participate in the Leader on Duty (LOD) program, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience and driving store profitability.
- Manage weekly payroll processing.
- Adjust scheduling based on business needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom in accordance with established policies.
- Ensure compliance with Environment (CRE) Standards and Safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of prior retail experience.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Skills and Attributes:
- Exceptional customer engagement skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong prioritization abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Capable of giving and receiving performance feedback.
- Commitment to self-improvement.
- Effective communication skills.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
