Job Summary

Cook Solutions Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our sales team in a key role. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales revenue companywide on new company solutions, working closely with Technical Account Managers to identify qualified customers and prospects, and matching their needs with CSG solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Generation: Achieve sales revenue goals by carrying out sales campaigns and strategic company initiatives, fulfilling budgeted sales revenue goals and product goals.
  • Customer Engagement: Provide professional-looking proposals to customers and prospects for CSG Solutions, working with TAMs to provide internal Command Center quotes, and be proactive with existing accounts to introduce additional recurring revenue service opportunities.
  • Account Management: Team management of day-to-day interface with customers/prospects, prospect and target new business by cold calling, scheduling meetings, demos, and presentations as necessary to bring in new business.
  • Service Delivery: Responsible for scheduling quarterly meetings with existing accounts and prospects, tracking in CRM, and working closely with Agreements Team in implementing and managing service agreements, renewals, and addendums, including scheduling welcome calls.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of service and product lines and reach out to CSG resources and experts when applicable, and communicate important customer information to management as necessary, escalating as needed.
  • Proposal Development: Responsible for turning all proposals around within a timely manner, with exception of large projects approved by local GM, and provide strategic solution overview regarding CSG and partner manufacturer products and solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with all CSG departments, providing ongoing communication and collaboration between service, operations, and accounting, and continuously strive to improve partner/customer experiences.
Requirements
  • Education: HS Diploma or GED equivalent required, Bachelor's or Master's preferred.
  • Experience: Four or more years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience, with two years of complex solution sales or technical sales and/or installation experience.
  • Skills: Must have sales experience or demonstrate ability to communicate features/benefits of technology in a complex environment utilizing exceptional communication skills, and must have or achieve/maintain detailed product knowledge.
