Job Overview

SmartTalent is on the lookout for skilled individuals to fill the role of Fence Construction Specialist for a reputable fencing organization.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 4:30 PM (or until the completion of tasks)

Compensation: $20-$22 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare land and surroundings while installing various types of fencing materials (including Custom Cedar, Galvanized Chain-link, and Ornamental).
  • Accurately measure and cut materials to ensure a precise fit.
  • Employ hand tools and power tools for effective fence assembly.
  • Execute concrete setting for fence posts.
  • Dig holes necessary for fence post installation.
  • Utilize a wheelbarrow for transporting heavy cement.
  • Follow instructions and take direction effectively.
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with team members.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 6 months of recent experience in a similar role.
  • Steel-toed boots are required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary for operating company vehicles once authorized.
  • A clean driving record with no more than two preventable accidents or tickets.
  • Comfortable working consistently in an outdoor environment.
