Position Summary:

This role is situated within the Facilities department, which oversees various aspects of building management, including new constructions, renovations, utility management, and equipment upgrades. Our objective is to maintain a facility that reflects our pride and commitment to customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of systems, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building controls.
  • Assess and recommend enhancements to equipment to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
  • Perform troubleshooting and diagnostic analysis on equipment failures, including both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  • Engage in a reliability-centered maintenance program to foster long-term equipment dependability.
  • Provide mentorship and foster teamwork through effective communication and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Preferred: A minimum of 3 years in a facilities management role within an industrial or heavy commercial setting. Entry-level candidates with relevant qualifications will also be considered.

Education:

Completion of a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience in equipment service is required.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with low and medium voltage electrical systems and Building Management Systems.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical systems such as HVAC, refrigeration, and plumbing.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in basic computer applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Self-motivated with a focus on continuous improvement and customer service.
