Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at AtWork Group. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting and auditing materials, processes, and products used in the construction of aircraft components to ensure conformance with our quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and audit materials, processes, and products to ensure conformance with quality standards
  • Conduct first article inspections of newly designed or revised products
  • Inspect incoming products to ensure proper paperwork and conformance to specifications
  • Perform in-process inspections of parts being manufactured
  • Inspect sub-assemblies and final products prior to shipment
  • Interpret and read engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate part manufacturing
  • Assure an optimal level of manufactured components on the manufacturing floor conform to engineering drawings and/or specifications
  • Monitor approved processes and procedures used to assure product quality
  • Gather inspection data and support operations and engineering personnel with quality-related issues

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years minimum experience within the quality environment
  • Familiarity with Windows Operating System
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments and read engineering drawings and specifications
  • Knowledge of ASME Y14.5M Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) and basic 3D inspection software
  • Minor traveling may be required
  • Must pass drug testing and background checking
