About the Role

The ideal Photo Retoucher is experienced in high-volume and high-quality digital retouching. They approach all projects with creativity and have a well-developed appreciation and understanding of professional photography and advertising art.

The Photo Retoucher must have the ability to successfully manage and produce multiple deadline-driven projects with high image volume while maintaining the utmost accuracy and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Retouch product and lifestyle digital images for use in marketing across multiple platforms including print, web, and social.
  2. Using Adobe Photoshop, edit imagery to match product samples for color accuracy, balance of lighting, combining plates, and fixing imperfections to deliver final image asset.
  3. Composite product into existing lifestyle or still imagery, creating realistic highlights and shadows while preserving texture, perspective, lighting, and depth of the product.
  4. Assist stakeholders in image retrieval, cropping, resizing, and sharing images as needed.
  5. Help edit dynamic image formats (time lapse, animated GIFs, etc.) for ecommerce and social media purposes.
  6. Own the full lifecycle process of all digital assets, working cross-functionally to manage smooth workflows for asset acquisition, storage, and delivery to internal users.
  7. Maintain our digital asset management system including file naming and metadata input. Ensure all digital assets and deliverables are organized and are available to internal stakeholders on a strict timeline.
  8. Execute to creative direction from Photographers, Designers, and Art Directors, to implement any changes necessary in a fast-paced, speed-centric environment while achieving the highest quality results.
  9. Commit to staying up to date with software upgrades and current trends in retouching and photography and continually work to streamline and improve workflows.
Requirements
  1. Minimum 1-3 years relevant experience
  2. Must work well in a team environment
  3. Mac proficient, Adobe Suite & Photoshop Pro required
  4. Background in digital project management.
  5. Strong understanding of digital file handling, color management, and file formats.
  6. Experience working with Digital Asset Management platforms - Bynder a plus.
  7. Process-oriented, highly organized with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  8. Multi-tasker with a positive, flexible attitude and ability to pivot easily.
  9. Experience with Planner and other Microsoft tools is a plus.
  10. Video editing or graphic design experience a plus, but not required.
  11. Ability to build relationships quickly, and work well with many different teams and personalities
