About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team as a Mobile Imaging Specialist. As a key member of our DispatchHealth Management team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in their homes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and residential homes.
  • Operate portable radiologic equipment, including X-ray generators and associated equipment.
  • Determine exposure factors based on patient height, weight, and body part.
  • Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
  • Collect and verify required order documentation and patient information.
  • Process images and review them for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
  • Transmit images and associated documentation in a timely manner according to company protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, and assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed.
Requirements
  • Meet state-specific and federal requirements to perform portable x-rays, including registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or a state x-ray license.
  • Hold a valid state-issued driver's license and maintain a good driving record.
  • Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds, and walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment.
  • Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends.
