- Culinary Team Management: Direct, guide, and organize the culinary team to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety requirements are met, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Training and Development: Provide training, coaching, and guidance to the culinary team, recognizing and rewarding positive efforts and areas for improvement.
- Revenue Generation: Contribute to the success of the hotel by generating new revenue through innovative ideas and suggestions for improvements.
- Operational Efficiency: Manage the department's operational efficiency, ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, and that the departmental budget is managed effectively.
- Facilities Management: Ensure that the kitchen areas are well-maintained and clean, portraying the quality of our product.
- Planning and Reporting: Plan for upcoming business volumes, update payroll daily, and submit bi-weekly reports to the payroll department.
- 5 years of experience as a chef, preferably in a fine dining restaurant.
