  • Food Quality and Presentation: Ensure that food quality and presentation are consistently exceptional, meeting the high standards of our guests.
  • Culinary Team Management: Direct, guide, and organize the culinary team to achieve optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety requirements are met, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Training and Development: Provide training, coaching, and guidance to the culinary team, recognizing and rewarding positive efforts and areas for improvement.
  • Revenue Generation: Contribute to the success of the hotel by generating new revenue through innovative ideas and suggestions for improvements.
  • Operational Efficiency: Manage the department's operational efficiency, ensuring that the kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently, and that the departmental budget is managed effectively.
  • Facilities Management: Ensure that the kitchen areas are well-maintained and clean, portraying the quality of our product.
  • Planning and Reporting: Plan for upcoming business volumes, update payroll daily, and submit bi-weekly reports to the payroll department.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience as a chef, preferably in a fine dining restaurant.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
