Job Summary

Reporting to the Associate Manager, Corporate Accounting, this position supports the governance and maintenance of SC Johnson's global financial reporting systems, financial master data, and related processes. This role actively participates/leads projects that require financial system and/or master data reporting changes, such as SAP implementations/upgrades and acquisition integration activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Worldwide Month/Year End close and the Company's annual budget process by performing multiple tasks, including running packages, loading data, checking BPC/SAP/BW data, and providing reports.
  • Support BPC/SAP end users with loading data to BPC, analyzing BPC/SAP data related to users' queries, and managing several maintenance tasks of BPC consolidation system.
  • Manage master data updates in SAP in alignment with SCJ policies/procedures and BPC, including chart of accounts, cost centers, and profit centers.
  • Participate in or lead analytics, analysis, and system testing for projects like acquisitions integrations, SAP implementations, changes in SAP/BPC due to business projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Information Systems.
  • 5-7 years of working experience in Finance/Accounting/Information Systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with SAP/BPC/BW.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Well-organized.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
  • High level of initiative and can work independently.
  • Experience in project management.
