Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team at Textron. As an Assembly Technician, you will play a critical role in the production of high-quality automotive components.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and fit together parts to form complete units using assigned equipment and standardized procedures.
  • Operate automatic and semi-automatic equipment in a continuous production-processing assembly operations.
  • Perform tasks necessary to produce, assemble, deliver, and inspect products using assigned equipment and standardized procedures.
  • Conduct automated and visual inspections of parts to ensure conformance within required specifications.
  • Maintain equipment-operating records and refer to standardized work instructions.
  • Ensure all work areas are clean, safe, and orderly.
  • Perform individual assignments as directed by the supervisor.
  • Adhere to and utilize all company Quality Management System (QMS) Policies, Procedures, and Documentation.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working in a manufacturing or production-based facility is preferred.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasional lifting of up to pounds.
  • Regular and continuous movement in, around, under, and about factory and/or laboratory equipment and machinery.
  • Majority of work time spent standing, walking, lifting, and bending.
  • Climbing ladders and stairs as necessary.
  • Working in an automotive components manufacturing, office, and laboratory setting, with exposure to heat, cold, and fumes/chemicals.
