**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team at ICONMA. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing manufacturing techniques, processes, tooling, and machinery to maximize throughput.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement control charting of critical features and processes to monitor results and determine machine and process capabilities and performance reliability.
  • Manage the implementation of new processes, selection of equipment to be purchased, and time estimates to identify optimal tooling for machining.
  • Resolve issues with design, manufacturability, or build sequences to ensure production-part acceptance and manufacturing readiness.
  • Participate in the adoption of new technologies and processes to achieve greater efficiency.
  • Consult on and oversee the selection and implementation of automation and robotics on the assembly line.
  • Develop manufacturing equipment purchase proposals by studying manufacturing plans and commitments, evaluating manufacturing processes and requirements.
  • Recommend new manufacturing equipment by identifying vendors and operating equipment, evaluating equipment capabilities and service history, and evaluating vendor service and support.
  • Complete equipment cost projections by analyzing investment, return, and savings.
  • Monitor equipment installations by advising crews.
  • Meet production requirements by designing equipment modifications as needed.
  • Prepare equipment operators by conducting training, providing reference and support resources.
  • Maintain process integrity by developing and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines.
  • Maintain equipment records by filing documents and updating the equipment database.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing techniques, processes, and equipment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
