Position Overview
Position Title: Engineering Supervisor OAIRE
Position Type: Staff Full-Time
Department: The Innovation Foundation

Job Summary:
This role is pivotal in advancing aerospace technology through research and development. The Engineering Supervisor will primarily focus on:
  • Overseeing the design, development, and implementation of technical products and systems.
  • Managing routine engineering tasks within the organization.
  • Supervising the preparation of engineering plans, designs, and reports.
  • Creating technical documentation, including reports and drawings.
  • Developing project management tools such as statements of work and progress reports.
  • Participating in project meetings and various testing activities to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating within a team environment, fostering interaction with colleagues and mentors.
  • Enhancing processes and tools to improve project effectiveness and quality.
  • Researching emerging technologies for future product development.
  • Delivering technical presentations to stakeholders.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
The incumbent will also be responsible for:
  • Overseeing and mentoring assigned engineers.
  • Managing daily operations and development of engineering staff.
  • Coordinating staffing levels and performance evaluations.
  • Providing career counseling and performance development.
  • Managing engineering activities with a focus on resource allocation.

Travel Requirements:
This position may involve travel for technology testing and outreach events.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Three years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Engineering.
