Key Responsibilities:

- Policy Development: Create and enforce health and safety policies to ensure a well-informed workforce.

- Training Coordination: Organize safety training programs to cultivate a culture of safety and environmental awareness.
- Regulatory Liaison: Act as the primary contact for regulatory bodies, ensuring compliance and fostering positive relationships.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly assess and enhance safety programs, integrating best practices and new technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Environmental Engineering or Occupational Health and Safety.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental health and safety within a manufacturing or defense context.
- In-depth knowledge of applicable EHS regulations and standards.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Preferred certifications such as CSP or CIH.
Work Environment: This role requires mobility within an office setting and may involve physical activities such as lifting and standing. Candidates must be able to comply with safety protocols and may need to travel as required.
