Job Description

Serves as a key member of our team, responsible for building, operating, and maintaining high-performance services for our platforms and products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain enterprise data integration pipelines using Python, Java, and Bash.
  • Improve existing systems and processes to increase efficiency and reduce manual operations.
  • Work closely with engineers to advocate and participate in systems design, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.
  • Diagnose, resolve, and prevent production issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Handle support and operations of software, including monitoring and alerting, configuration management, upgrades, and rollout of new products.
  • Perform migrations to the latest infrastructure types, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal downtime.
  • Debug, improve, and optimize services and infrastructure, reducing manual operations and automating processes, runbooks, and workflows.
Qualifications
  • BS in Computer Science / Engineering (or related career field).
  • 3+ years of experience with Software Production Engineering and Data Engineering.
  • Proficiency with Amazon Web Services, on-premises servers, Python, Java, Bash, Puppet, Typescript/Java Script, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Prometheus, Grafana, Oracle, Postgres, Cassandra, and Elasticsearch.
  • Experience with DoD 8570 IAT Level 1 Certification (Sec+, CISSP, etc.) and DoD 8570 Computing Environment Certification (Linux+, Redhat Certified System Administrator, COMPTIA Server+).
  • Active DoD Top-Secret Clearance with CI Polygraph.
