Job Summary

As a Commercial Banking Relationship Manager I at ESL Federal Credit Union, you will be responsible for generating new business relationships and managing a portfolio of customers. This role requires a strong understanding of commercial credit and noncredit products, as well as excellent analytical, planning, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect for new business opportunities through disciplined external calling efforts.
  • Network with internal and external business contacts to identify potential customers.
  • Manage a portfolio of customers to ensure retention and expansion of relationships.
  • Conduct annual and relationship reviews and document relationship plans.
  • Document activities in Next Gen.
  • Identify and assess credit opportunities using established ESL underwriting standards and closing requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 4 years including experience and training in aspects of Commercial Banking or successful completion of the Business Banking Relationship Management Development Program required.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of progressively responsible commercial lending experience, including financial analysis and underwriting.
  • Extensive knowledge of commercial credit and noncredit products required.
  • Highly developed time management, leadership, and time management skills required.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills required.
