Work Schedule:
This role offers a hybrid work model, allowing for remote work up to 40% of the time. The primary office for this position is located at ESL Corporate Headquarters. The standard work hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Flexibility is essential to accommodate current and future business requirements.
Compensation:
Starting Salary: $78,000 Pay Range: $69,075 - $78,000. This role is eligible for an incentive program, details of which will be discussed during the interview process.Role Overview:
Responsible for cultivating new Business Banking relationships while managing a portfolio of existing clients. Achieve personal sales targets and enhance current relationships through proactive outreach and networking within the business sector. Make referrals to other business lines within the organization as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure that Business Development and sales objectives are achieved in accordance with established guidelines and ESL policies.
Proactively engage in external calling efforts to generate new business. Network effectively at both internal and external business events. Manage the assigned client portfolio to ensure retention and growth of relationships. Conduct annual reviews and maintain documented relationship plans in a timely manner. Record activities in the designated management system. Identify and evaluate credit opportunities in line with ESL's underwriting standards.Provide mentorship and support to staff in assigned branches. Assist with customer sales and service as needed.
Uphold member-focused Customer Experience Service Standards. Engage in ongoing personal and professional development.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Commercial Banking, or successful completion of the Business Banking Relationship Management Development Program. Preferred: Bachelor's Degree. Minimum of 1 year of relevant commercial lending experience, including financial analysis and underwriting. Comprehensive knowledge of commercial credit and non-credit products is essential. Strong time management, leadership, and organizational skills are required. Excellent analytical, planning, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are necessary.
